Chimney Bluffs

We went to see Chimney Bluffs on Lake Ontario. They were formed when a continental glacier melted 12,000 years ago and is one of the largest in the world. It was really spectacular to see and it was so beautiful there.

Running off some excess energy

Katelyn loved hiking in the woods (picking flowers, finding sticks and rocks, she loves nature so this was right up her alley)

We took a trail down to the water and explored the shore of lake Ontario

This picture and the 2 video clips below were taken at the bottom of the bluffs, it was amazing to see the cliffs towering above us.

Katelyn was watching Todd skip stones in the water so these were her attempts at doing the same..... so cute :)

After we left Chimney Bluffs we took a short drive to Sodus Bay to check out the lighthouse and walk around the area...it was a beautiful day!!

Backpack

Katelyn needed a backpack for her 1st day of daycare. (She loved her backpack and was so excited to wear it)

Distracted Driver

We took Katelyn to ride her Dora trike at the playground....she wasn't able to reach the pedals last time we tried...but somebody has grown since then .... : )

Katelyn was more preoccupied with playing with all the gadgets and gizmos on the trike than she was with actually riding it. Everytime I went to take a picture she was looking down at the lights or playing with the music. Talk about a distracted driver!!

The Beach

I would say Katelyn's favorite place to go is definitely the beach. She loves digging in the sand and splashing in the water. She enjoys the whole experience. We finally brought the camera this time so we took some pictures and video

I did realize afterwards that this was an Alpaca not a Llama ... oops :)

Notice in the clip below how she insists on staying in the balls, until I mention it's lunchtime, then she can't get out of there quick enough.

Kiddie Pool

Katelyn had a great time cooling off in her pool and playing tee ball in the backyard. We are in the early stages of potty training so we are trying to stay close to home! We started on Friday and only had 1 accident in three days (which was my fault, I didn't remind her and it had been awhile). She is wearing big girl underwear (Dora and Princess) during the day and she is doing a great job, better than I could have ever anticipated!
